Mortise Locksets

OSI uses only the highest quality and most durable components to assemble its products. In standard mortise applications, OSI uses modified versions of the Schlage L Series and Falcon M Series locksets. Both of these locksets meet the highest of standards provided for industrial, institutional, and commercial installations.

Applicable systems are OM100, OM300, OM500, OM2000 and OP2000.

Standard Mortise Lockset Features:

Applications: For commercial and institutional buildings where the finest in mortise locks are required.
Certifications: ANSI A156.13, Grade 1 Operational, U.L. Listed.
Trim: Lever both sides with rose on both sides
Function: Storeroom
Handing: Right hand is standard; left hand optional. Reversible in the field.

Schlage L9080P/L9453P Specifications

Case Size: 47/16" x 61/16" x 1" (113mm x 154mm x 25mm). Levers: Forged brass, forged bronze, or cast stainless steel. Roses: A Design: 21/8" (54 mm) Diameter wrought brass, bronze, or stainless steel. Deadbolt: 1" (25mm) throw stainless steel. Latchbolt: 3/4" (19mm) throw stainless steel with anti-friction tongue.

Backset: 23/4" (70mm) only.

Keying:
- 6 Pin tumbler with two nickel silver keys per lock.
- Large Format Interchangeable (ICR) (Schlage)
- Small Format Interchangeable (ICI): Fits Best, Medeco, Arrow, KSP, and Falcon cylinders.

Certifications: ANSI A156.13, 1994, Grade 1 Operational, Grade 2 Security. ANSI/ASTM F-476-84 Grade 30, U.L. Listed.

Spacing: Center line knob/lever to center line cylinder, 3 7/8" (98mm); center line knob/lever to center line turn-piece, 2 11/16" (68mm).

Door Range:1 3/4" (44mm) standard. 1 3/8" to 2 1/2" (35mm - 64mm) regular parts assembled to order. Over 2 1/2" (64mm) door ranges vary by function.

Falcon LM569/LM539 Specifications

Case: Cold formed steel, zinc dichromate plated, .090" thick. Optional lead wrapping available. Latch Bolt: Two-piece brass, mechanical anti-friction bolt. 3/4" projection. Optional lead wrapping available. Dead Bolt: 1" throw, brass with a 1/4" thick hardened steel, free-turning, saw-resistant roller. Bind Resistant Trim: Heavy duty through-bolted inserts clamp the trim on the door assuring proper alignment. Designed to bottom out on 1-3/4" doors to prevent door collapse. Provided with 10-32 screws for strength and thread sealant to prevent loosening.

Backset: 2-3/4" only.

Keying:
- Solid brass cylinder and plug
- 6 Pin tumbler with two nickel silver keys per lock.
- Large Format Interchangeable (ICR) (Schlage)
- Small Format Interchangeable (ICI): Fits Best, Medeco, Arrow, KSP, and Falcon cylinders.

Certifications: Meets ANSI/BHMA 156.13, Series 1000. UL: 3 hour A label.

Door thickness: Standard accommodates thickness of 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" for doors over 2-1/4" thick, consult factory.

Hubs: Hardened steel.

Strike: Brass, bronze or stainless steel. Meets ANSI AII5.1 for frame preparation. Strike is handed.

Key Detection: Not available on this chassis.
